In Brooklyn, 1-800 Happy Birthday will be the centerpiece of The Plaza at 300 Ashland, with a phone booth installation that plays voicemails left for all 15 celebrants of the project. A gathering place for community events and open to the public 24 hours a day, this installation will be an interactive celebration of life.

On October 6, join us for a public program by the phone booth featuring a performance by Samora Pinderhughes and The Healing Project at the plaza followed by a reception at the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA).
